Three Unusual Cheeses For Burgers
Combining the classic cheeseburger with other fan favorites was a clear choice. Who doesn’t like pizza and bloody mary’s? A bloody mary pizza cheeseburger certainly fits into the category of a “Unique Cheeseburger”.
  • 1 pound fresh ground chuck
  • ½ tomato
  • ½ green pepper
  • ¾ cup tomato juice
  • 1 tsp Vulcan Salt
  • 1 tsp Celery Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 slices Basil farmers cheese
  • 3 slices Pepperoni & Marinara Jack
  • 3 sesame seed buns
  1. First things first, mix the pound of ground beef and all your ingredients including the tomato juice. The mix created is similar to that of the bloody mary you can find at the Uber Tap Room, the bar connected the Cheese Mart. Try not to over-mix the meat before creating your patty, the result could be a burger that’s likely to fall apart on the grill.
  2. Once you have your patty(shoot for about ½ inch in height) , throw them on the grill for about 7-8 minutes a side.
  3. Throw the cheese on with about a minute left and cover to help melt your cheese.
  4. Once the burger is done, top with a green pepper and slice of tomato and you’ve got your Bloody Mary Pizza Burger! The Pepperoni & Marinara Jack combined with the fresh taste of the Basil farmers cheese helps accentuate the spicy, juicy flavor that’s infused in the burger. To make things even better, pair this savory burger with a Bloody Mary and a chaser of Lakefront Riverwest Stein!
Turkey Feta Burger
Now to switch things up a little bit. The Turkey Feta burger with shaved aged Sarvecchio aged Parmesan. The sweet taste of the Feta pairs amazingly with the sharp bite of the aged Parmesan and lean cut of the ground turkey.
  • 1 pound fresh ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ⅓ cup diced spinach leaves
  • Black pepper
  • Nueske’s Bacon
  • 3 slices tomato
  • Fresh Romaine Lettuce
  • 3 tbsp Aged Sarvecchio Parmesan
  • ½ cup crumbled Feta
  • 3 Pretzel Buns
  1. To start things off, dice up your spinach and feta and add it to the ground turkey breast along with the olive oil (this will prevent the burger from sticking to the grill). Do not over mix the ground turkey as it starts to release the moisture you want to retain while grilling.
  2. Once your patty is formed, lay out the black pepper and roll the edges in it so the side is fully covered giving the outer bites nice blast of peppery flavor.
  3. Cook about 7 minutes a side, flip only once and as always Do NOT smash the burger down with a spatula. You want those juices. You need those juices.
  4. Once your burger is cooked to perfection, place it on your pretzel roll, place the tomato directly on the burger add grate the parmesan directly on to the tomato to give the sweet, fresh flavor of the tomato a sharp and salty kick.
  5. Top with lettuce and you’re all set!

Three Unusual Cheeses For Burgers
Last but most certainly not least we have the Hawaiian Burger. A sweet, spicy, mouth watering creation with an abundance of flavor that is also easy on the eyes. The highlight of the burger is the Mango Fire Cheddar that really sets off the unique ingredients for a perfectly refreshing burger for a hot summer day. The mango gives the cheddar a unique sweet flavor and is backed up with a nice punch of spice from the habanero pepper.
Cuisine: Hawaiian Pineapple Burger
  • 1lb fresh Waygu ground beef
  • 6 slices Mango Fire Cheddar
  • 3 sliced pineapple rings
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 2 tsp Vulcan Fire Salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 poppy seed burger buns
  • 3 ozs bourbon whiskey
  • Fresh romaine lettuce
  • 1 red bell pepper
  1. First step to making this delicious burger is to take a deep breath. You’re about to have a flavor explosion in your mouth like nothing you’ve had before. Now that you’re calm, cool and collected let’s start by making the bourbon glaze that you’ll be draping over the final product. Add the bourbon, brown sugar and vanilla into small saucepan and heat until sugar is mostly broken down, stir and set aside.
  2. Cut your pineapple into rings then form your burger patty to about the same diameter as the pineapple.
  3. Add the Vulcan salt and black pepper into the beef before making your patty. Vulcan salt is the perfect spice to help bring out the natural flavors of the Waygu beef and pineapple. This lively spice is made primarily with habanero peppers, lime and Tabasco chilies.
  4. Once your burger is ready, throw it on the grill aiming for about 7 minutes on each side, which will give you a nice, juicy medium-rare burger.
  5. About 1-2 minutes before taking the burger off the grill throw two slices of Mango Fire Cheddar on each burger.
  6. To assemble this masterpiece, start by placing the pineapple on the bun followed by your burger. Drizzle your bourbon glaze directly on to the burger then add red pepper, jalapeno and lettuce to finish things off. The bourbon glaze, jalapeno, Mango Fire Cheddar and pineapple bring a robust and juicy flavor profile to the burger that will have you adding as one of your favorite grilling recipes in no time!

Now call your friends and family, get outside and try these unique cheeseburgers and show off your grilling skills!
